Society & Membership

The ICORD (International Conferences for Rare Diseases and Orphan Drugs) Society was formed on September 13, 2007 in Brussels. Its mission is to improve the welfare of patients with rare diseases and their families world-wide through better knowledge, research, care, information, education and awareness. The ICORD Society arranges the annual ICORD Conferences.

The ICORD Society General Assembly is held during the annual ICORD Conference. The first general assembly was held in Washington DC, during the 4th ICORD meeting in May, 2008.

FOR ICORD members:

The general assembly will be held in Tokyo 4 February 2012, 6.30 pm in the Convention Hall, Komaba Research Campus, University of Tokyo. The meeting is open only to ICORD members. The annual membership fee can be paid by bank transfer or by credit card, please follow the links above for payment.
